Cast aluminum is pure aluminum metal. It can be mistaken for iron, however if a magnet doesn't stick it can be claimed aluminum. Motors, transmissions and other irony aluminum products can be purchased as cast aluminum if they are not attached to any iron.

Axels

Axels are one of the most common throw away mistakes when it comes to auto cores. Thrown away as scrap, people lose hundreds and sometimes thousands of dollars with axel build ups. Buying them as cores is the right way and its our way. 

Catalytic Converters 

Converters are a prime sector of our business. The various amounts of platinum and other commodities inside each converter vary. Each converter is graded and priced separately for fairness. All converters are accepted!

Power Steering Racks

Racks are a major steering component. So they are bought as their own auto core with Universal Metal Management. The weight on racks is high, but the price for it as steel is close to nothing. Buying it as a core, will allow you to get paid more. 

Water Pumps

Old water pumps are always hanging around. Often scrapped as iron or steel, your losing money. We pay a much higher price for old water pumps because we purchase them as automotive cores.

Light Iron 

Light iron is the biggest pain of all scrap metals. Worth the least and taking up the most space, why not just throw it away at this point? Things like mufflers and other auto body parts are light iron. Will take them off your hands at a competitive price. 

Radiators

We purchase aluminum and brass radiators. Brass prices and aluminum prices differ depending on market price and if the radiator contains plastic or not, 

Alternators

Alternators are worth money as cores. When they get old and rusty, you most likely don't want to look at them. So let us take them off your hands for a good price. Don't scrap them as steel when there is metals worth much more inside. 

Rotors

Rotors are the backbone of UMM. We are one of the only companies who purchase car rotors as auto core products. The money you will make with us on rotors will out do what you can make lugging them to the scrap yard yourself.

Compressors are some of our favorites. They are way to often thrown out or scrapped lightly. They add up quickly. At an average of five to seven dollars a piece. You can walk away with a days pay if you have enough compressors. 3-5 Dollars.

Electric Motors

Electric motors are often scrapped with computer parts, electronic devices, etc. With us, they are their own category worth some good cash. What's inside is what matters. This is the case with electric motors.
